The Numerical Reasoning test, typically used in the 11+ and Independent Schools is all about interpreting and answering questions using numbers, data and tables.
For example a train timetable could be used for questions about fastest times between stations.
For example a table of data on shops and the products they sell and at what price.
Children will typically be asked to interpret this kind of data, work out highest and lowest values, averages, and scale & predict other data (e.g. using ratio & proportion).
